tevbind(3G)
tevbind - selects a texture environment
As shipped in IRIX 6.5.7. Unchanged since IRIX 6.5.
NAME tevbind - selects a texture environment C SPECIFICATION void tevbind(target, index) long target, index; PARAMETERS target expects the texture resource to which the environment definition is to be bound. There is only one appropriate resource, TV_ENV0. index expects the name of the texture environment that is being bound. Name is the index passed to tevdef when the environment was defined. DESCRIPTION tevbind specifies which of the previously defined texture mapping environments is to be the current environment. The texture environment defines how the results of the texture function are applied. Texture environments are defined using tevdef. By default environment definition 0 is bound to TV_ENV0. Texture mapping is enabled when an environment definition other than 0 is bound to TV_ENV0, and a texture definition other than 0 is bound to TX_TEXTURE_0. (See texbind.) SEE ALSO t, tevdef, texdef2d, texbind NOTES IRIS-4D G, GT, and GTX models, and the Personal Iris, do not support texture mapping. tevbind is ignored by these machines. Iris Indy, Indigo Entry, and XL support texture mapping except for lines. Use getgdesc to determine whether texture mapping is supported. tevbind cannot be used while mmode is MSINGLE.
