As shipped in IRIX 6.5. First release of IRIX 6.5.
NAME etime, dtime - return user+system execution time SYNOPSIS real function etime (tarray) real tarray(2) real function dtime (tarray) real tarray(2) DESCRIPTION These two routines return user and system runtime in seconds for the calling process. Dtime returns the user and system time since the last call to dtime, or the start of execution on the first call. The argument array returns user time in the first element and system time in the second element. The function value is the sum of user and system time. This value approximates the program's elapsed time on a quiet system. The resolution of all timing is 1/HZ. See the system include file param.h in /usr/include/sys for the value of HZ.
