DESCRIPTION
asin returns the real arcsine of its real argument, dasin returns the
double-precision arcsine of its double-precision argument, and qasin
returns the real*16 arcsine of its real*16 argument. The absolute value
of the arguments for asin, dasin, and qasin must be less than or equal to
one. The result is in radians and is in the range -pi/2 <= result <=
pi/2. The generic form asin may be used with impunity as it derives its
type from that of its argument.

asind returns the real*4 arcsine of its real*4 argument, dasind returns
the real*8 arcsine of its real*8 argument, and qasind returns the real*16
arcsine of its real*16 argument. The absolute value of the arguments for
asind, dasind, and qasind must be less than or equal to one. The result
is in degrees and is in the range -90 <= result <= 90. The generic form
asind may be used with impunity as it derives its type from that of its
     argument.
