NAME KIND - Returns the value of the kind type parameter of x SYNOPSIS KIND ([X=]x) IMPLEMENTATION UNICOS, UNICOS/mk, IRIX systems CF90, MIPSpro 7 Fortran 90 STANDARDS Fortran DESCRIPTION The KIND intrinsic function returns the value of the kind type parameter of x. It maps variable space into kind values, and it accepts the following argument: x May be of any intrinsic type KIND is an inquiry function. The name of this intrinsic cannot be passed as an argument. RETURN VALUES The result is a default integer scalar value and has a value equal to the kind type parameter value of x. EXAMPLES KIND(0.0) has the kind type parameter value of default real.
