NAME xlvCreateLV - creates a new xlv logical volume SYNOPSIS /usr/sysadm/privbin/xlvCreateLV -stripe devfile devfile [devfile ...] /usr/sysadm/privbin/xlvCreateLV devfile [devfile ...] DESCRIPTION xlvCreateLV invokes xlv_make to configure the indicated disk partition(s) into a new xlv logical volume. The name of the newly created volume is written to standard output. This privcmd is not intended to be called from the command line. xlv_make provides a more interactive interface for creating xlv objects, including logical volumes. OPTIONS -stripe Specifies that the volume is to be striped. When using this option, at least two device files must be specified. The stripe size will be set at 128KB, or 256 512-byte blocks. devfile The device special file of a partition to be added to the new volume.
