getwd - get current working directory pathname

As shipped in IRIX 6.5.30. Unchanged since IRIX 6.5.

NAME
     getwd - get current working directory pathname

SYNOPSIS
     #include <unistd.h>

     char *getwd(char *pathname);

DESCRIPTION
     getwd copies the absolute pathname of the current working directory to
     pathname and returns a pointer to the result.

LIMITATIONS
     Maximum pathname length is PATH_MAX characters as defined in <limits.h>.
     PATH_MAX is equivalent to MAXPATHLEN as defined in <sys/param.h>.

DIAGNOSTICS
     getwd returns zero and places a message in pathname if an error occurs.
