SYNOPSIS
     C:

          #include <mpi.h>

          int MPI_Comm_create ( comm, group, comm_out )
          MPI_Comm  comm;
          MPI_Group group;
          MPI_Comm *comm_out;

     C++:

          Intracomm Intracomm::Create(
          const Group&      group) const

     Fortran:

          INCLUDE "mpif.h" (or USE MPI)

          INTEGER comm, group, newcomm, ierror,

          CALL MPI_COMM_CREATE(comm, group, newcomm,
          ierror)

STANDARDS
     This release implements the MPI 1.2 standard, as documented by the MPI
     Forum in the spring 1997 release of MPI: A Message Passing Interface
     Standard.

DESCRIPTION
     The MPI_Comm_create routine creates a new communicator. This routine
     accepts the following parameters:

     comm      Specifies a communicator (handle)

     group Specifies the group, which is a subset of the group of comm
               (handle)

     comm_out Returns a new communicator (handle) ierror Specifies the return
               code value for successful completion, which is in MPI_SUCCESS.
               MPI_SUCCESS is defined in the mpif.h file.
