VERSION
     This page documents the version of Sgm that accompanies Motif 1.2.

DESCRIPTION
     This  man  pages  describes new resources added to the Motif Text widget by
     SGI. To get these resources you need to #define __sgi in your application.

     For a description of the XmText widget non-SGI resources see the XmText man
     page.

   New Resources
     The following table defines a set of widget resources used by the  program-
     mer  to  specify data.  The programmer can also set the resource values for
     the inherited classes to set attributes for this widget.   To  reference  a
     resource  by  name  or by class in a .Xdefaults file, remove the SgN or SgC
     prefix and use the remaining letters.  To specify one of the defined values
     for a resource in a .Xdefaults file, remove the Sg prefix and use  the  re-
     maining  letters  (in either lowercase or uppercase, but include any under-
     scores between words).  The codes in the  access  column  indicate  if  the
     given  resource  can  be set at creation time (C), set by using XtSetValues
     (S), retrieved by using XtGetValues (G), or is not applicable (N/A).

     SgNselectionBackground
               Specifies the text selection background color.  In  non-SGI  text
               widget  the widget's foreground color is used for the text selec-
               tion background.

     SgNselectionForeground
               Specifies the text selection foreground color.  In  non-SGI  text
               widget  the widget's background color is used for the text selec-
               tion foreground.

     SgNerrorBackground
               Specifies the text background color for text  selected  with  the
               SgTextSetErrorSelection function. This marks the text as selected
               with  an  error status that is indicated by the background color,
               specified by the SgNerrorBackground resource.

     SgNcursorVisibleOnFocus
               Specifies whethere to show the text widget cursor only  when  the
               widget has focus. If cursorVisibleOnFocus is True then the cursor
               is not visible if the widget has no keyboard focus; if cursorVis-
               ibleOnFocus  is False then the cursor is always visible even when
               the widget has no keyboard focus.
