NAME fmgetstrwidth - return the width of a string in pixels SYNOPSIS #include <fmclient.h> long fmgetstrwidth(fh, str) fmfonthandle fh; char *str; DESCRIPTION fmgetstrwidth returns the number of pixels the string occupies in the x dimension. It uses the subpixel resolution provided in the glyph widths as it accumulates the width. If fmgetstrwidth fails, the return value is set to -1. SEE ALSO fminit(3W). NOTE This routine is available only in immediate mode.
