NAME
     vlan_close -

DEFINITION
     This routine closes a VLAN transmitter. The serial device port specifed
     is closed and any other cleanup is performed.

     int vlan_close( VLAN_DEV
      *vlanptr)

PARAMETERS
     Name           Type      I/O       Description
     vlanptr            VLAN_DEV * I         pointer to vlan device


VALUE RETURNED
     A 0 is returned if the call succeeds. A -1 is returned if the call fails
     and vlan_errno is set.
