     NAME
          /usr/Motif-2.1/lib/mksymlinks - make required Motif symbolic
          links.

     SYNOPSIS
          /usr/Motif-2.1/lib/mksymlinks <root base>


     VERSION
          This page documents the version of mksymlinks that
          accompanies Motif 2.1.

     DESCRIPTION
          mksymlinks creates useful symbolic links for Motif 2.1 to
          replicate the default locations. It is normally run as an
          exitop (see gendist) during the installation of any of the
          the components that make up Motif 2.1.  It may may also be
          run by other software distributions as part of their
          installation process.

          root base is the pathname of the top of the destination tree
          used to install motif_eoe and motif_dev. The default root
          base is /.

          When run /usr/Motif-2.1/lib/mksymlinks scans the directory
          /usr/Motif-2.1/lib/mksymlinks.d reading each file in turn
          and parsing each line into two fields. The fields are passed
          to a ln -s command. Blank lines and those beginning with #
          are ignored.

          All links should be made relative.
