cxfsdump - CXFS configuration gathering tool
As shipped in IRIX 6.5.19. Added in IRIX 6.5.19.
NAME cxfsdump - CXFS configuration gathering tool SYNOPSIS cxfsdump DESCRIPTION cxfsdump is a command-line tool used to gather configuration information in a CXFS cluster. It currently supports IRIX,Solaris and Windows nodes. The tool is started from an IRIX CXFS Administration node in the cluster and then it propogates itself to the other nodes. The output of the tool can be collected from the IRIX CXFS Administration node from which it was started. Due to the self propogatory nature of the tool,it needs rsh,rcp access across all nodes in the cluster. The non-availability of these(rsh, rcp) on Windows nodes forces the tool to be run in a stand-alone mode on Windows nodes. Root/Super User privileges are needed to run cxfsdump. cxfsdump needs Perl to run. NOTES cxfsdump can be run from an IRIX node with an optional parameter specifying the CXFS cluster name. 1) Command line execution in IRIX : # ./cxfsdump # ./cxfsdump cxfs-cluster-name 2) Command line execution in Windows : c:\>perl cxfsdump.pl IMPORTANT: The Win32::TieRegistry module is needed to run cxfsdump under Windows. This module is shipped along with the ActiveState perl distribution for Windows. It can also be downloaded separately from CPAN.
