gscan - graphical scanning command

As shipped in IRIX 6.5.19. Unchanged since IRIX 6.5.

NAME
     gscan - graphical scanning command

SYNOPSIS
     gscan [X toolkitoption...] [-f file] [-s screen] [-p] [scanner]

DESCRIPTION
gscan provides a graphical scanning interface. gscan can scan from
scanners, SGI screens, and SGI image files. gscan scans to SGI image
files, TIFF files, screens, printers, and standard output. For
information on using gscan, please consult the on-line help or the
     Impressario User's Guide.

     gscan has the following options:

-ffile Use file as the scanning source. file must be an SGI image
               file.

-sscreen Use screen as the scanning source. screen must be the name of
               an IRIS display.

-p Scan to standard output. Do not display widgets for selecting
               the destination.

scanner Specify a scanner to scan from. scanner must be the name of an
installed scanner; see scanners(1M) for scanner installation
               information.

The -f, -s, and scanner options are mutually exclusive. If gscan is
started with no options, the default scanner is used (see scanners(1M)),
or if there is no default scanner, a scanning source must be specified
from within gscan. (please see the on-line help).
