libprintui(3X)

LIBRARY DESCRIPTION
     libprintui provides graphical user interface components for interaction
     with the print spooling system. The current release of libprintui
     provides the PrintBox a Motif widget that presents a graphical front-end
     to the AT&T System V lp(1) print spooling command. The widget is similar
     in concept to the Motif SelectionBox widget in that a complete task
     oriented dialog box can be easily incorporated into any Motif client
     application. For more information on the widget consult the
     PuiPrintBox(3X) man page.

LIBRARY ACCESS
     Programs that call libprintui functions must include the header file
     /usr/include/Sgm/PrintBox.h and must link with /usr/lib/libprintui.a. The
     link line must contain the following libraries in the order shown:

           ... -lprintui -lspool -lXm -lXt -lX11 -lgen ...


     Programs that subclass off the PrintBox widget must include the header
     file /usr/include/Sgm/PrintBoxP.h.

ARCHITECTURE
     Many of the libprintui functions rely on the libspool(3) library to
     interact with the print spooling system. Refer to the libspool(3) man
     page for more information regarding this library.
