flush - flush output to a logical unit

NAME
     flush - flush output to a logical unit

SYNOPSIS
     subroutine flush ( lunit)

IMPLEMENTATION
     IRIX systems

DESCRIPTION
     flush causes the contents of the buffer for logical unit lunit to be
     flushed to the associated file.  There is usually an 8K buffer
     associated with block device output whereas terminal output is line-
     buffered.

     lunit must be a 32-bit integer.
