/usr/etc/appletalk/addzone - add a zone to a specific interface
As shipped in IRIX 6.5.15. Unchanged since IRIX 6.5.
NAME /usr/etc/appletalk/addzone - add a zone to a specific interface SYNOPSIS addzone interface zone [ zone ] [ zone ] [...] DESCRIPTION Addzone uses the AppleTalk Zone Information Protocol to add a zone to the network attached to a specific interface. If the zone never appears, it is a sign that the nbpd(1m) daemon is malfunctioning. Adding a zone to the loopback (lo0) adds it to the local pseudo-net. If other routers are present on the same network, it is important that each have the same list of zones. This is most easily accomplished by designating a ``seed'' router and allowing the other routers to obtain their zone lists from it. K-Talk will attempt to obtain a zone list from other routers on the net as well as adding those provided through addzone. DIAGNOSTICS Can't add zones to a Phase 1 network Phase 1 networks have only one zone, so additional zones can not be specified. SEE ALSO nbpd(1m), myzone(1), getzones(1)
