NAME rectzoom - specifies the zoom for rectangular pixel copies and writes C SPECIFICATION void rectzoom(xfactor, yfactor) float xfactor, yfactor; PARAMETERS xfactor expects the multiplier of the rectangle in the x direction. yfactor expects the multiplier of the rectangle in the y direction. DESCRIPTION rectzoom specifies independent x and y zoom factors that rectcopy, rectwrite, and lrectwrite use. rectzoom scales the source image by the numbers specified by xfactor and yfactor. If rectzoom(2.0, 3.0) is called, and the following rectangle is copied: 1 3 5 7 the copy will be: 1 1 3 3 1 1 3 3 1 1 3 3 5 5 7 7 5 5 7 7 5 5 7 7 Although zoom factors are specified as floating point values, some graphics systems do not support fractional zooms. These systems round each floating point zoom factor to the nearest integer value. Systems that do support fractional zoom replicate source image pixels when the zoom factor is greater than 1.0, and decimate the source image when the zoom factor is less than 1.0. By default, xfactor and yfactor are 1.0. SEE ALSO lrectwrite, pixmode, rectcopy, rectwrite NOTE This subroutine is available only in immediate mode. IRIS-4D G, GT, and GTX models, the Personal Iris, Iris Entry, Indy, XL, XS, XS24, XZ, Elan, and Extreme systems do not support fractional zoom. The Personal Iris, XS, XS24, XZ, Elan, and Extreme systems do not support zoom factors greater than 255.0.
