NAME getpla - returns the number of available bitplanes FORTRAN 77 SPECIFICATION integer*4 function getpla() PARAMETERS none FUNCTION RETURN VALUE The returned value of this function is the number of bitplanes available for drawing under the current drawmode. DESCRIPTION getpla returns the number of bitplanes that are available for drawing under the current drawmode. When the drawmode is NORMDR, the result also depends on the current buffer mode and whether or not multimap mode is active. When the drawmode is CURSDR, getpla always returns 0, since no direct drawing can be done into the cursor planes.
