          XmTextFieldGetEditable - A TextField function that accesses
          the edit permission state

          Boolean XmTextFieldGetEditable (widget)
               Widget    widget;

     DESCRIPTION
          XmTextFieldGetEditable accesses the edit permission state of
          the TextField widget.

          widget
               Specifies the TextField widget ID
