NAME PXFPAUSE - Suspends process execution until signal SYNOPSIS SUBROUTINE PXFPAUSE (ierror) INTEGER ierror STANDARDS IEEE standard interface for FORTRAN 77 DESCRIPTION The PXFPAUSE subroutine uses the pause(2) system call to suspend the calling process until it receives a signal. The signal must be one that is not currently set to be ignored by the calling process. The following argument is valid for this routine: ierrno A default integer output variable that contains nonzero if PXFPAUSE returned. This subroutine never returns with a zero or successful status. This routine is in libfortran.so which is linked by default when compiling programs with the MIPSpro 7 Fortran 90 compiler or when compiling programs with the -craylibs option to the MIPSpro F77 compiler. All arguments must be of default kind unless documented otherwise. On IRIX systems, the default kind is KIND=4. NOTES The PXF_DEFINITIONS module can be used by Fortran 90 users to enable caller-callee interface checking. Replace any Fortran reference to pause() with a subroutine call to PXFPAUSE.
