Showing IRIX 6.5.30 (default release). Last changed in IRIX 6.5.19.
NAME PXFFASTEXIT - Terminates a Fortran program SYNOPSIS SUBROUTINE PXFFASTEXIT (istatus) INTEGER istatus STANDARDS IEEE standard interface for FORTRAN 77 DESCRIPTION The PXFFASTEXIT subroutine uses _exit(2) to terminate a process. PXFFASTEXIT ends the execution of a Fortran program. The following is the valid argument for this routine: istatus A default integer input variable containing the status to be returned to the parent process of the terminated process. This routine is in libfortran.so which is linked by default when compiling programs with the MIPSpro 7 Fortran 90 compiler or when compiling programs with the -craylibs option to the MIPSpro F77 compiler. All arguments must be of default kind unless documented otherwise. On IRIX systems, the default kind is KIND=4. NOTES The PXF_DEFINITIONS module can be used by Fortran 90 users to enable caller-callee interface checking. Replace the subroutine reference to EXIT or _exit() with a subroutine call to PXFFASTEXIT. EXAMPLES PROGRAM PXFTEST INTEGER ISTATUS IERROr = 2 CALL PXFFASTEXIT(ISTATUS) ! ! PRINT should not be executed if the call to PXFFASTEXIT ! is successful. ! PRINT *,'FAILED: PXFFASTEXIT CALL RETURNED' END
