loc(3F)

NAME
     loc - return the address of an object

SYNOPSIS
     In a 32 bit program:
     function loc(arg)

     In a 64 bit program:
     integer *8 function loc(arg)

DESCRIPTION
     The returned value will be the address of arg.

NOTES
     In 64 bit program loc will return a 64 bit address.  Programs should
     declare the return type as integer *8.
