NAME
cxfsmgr, cxtask, cxdetail - CXFS Manager GUI

SYNOPSIS
     cxfsmgr [-l user] [-n] [-s server]

DESCRIPTION
The cxfsmgr command invokes the CXFS Manager Graphical User Interface
     (GUI).

The CXFS Manager GUI provides access to the tasks that help you set up
and administer your CXFS filesystems and provides icons representing
     status and structure.

     Options:

-l user Log in to the server as user. By default, cxfsmgr will
attempt to log in as root.

-n No prompting. cxfsmgr will attempt to connect without
prompting for server name or password. By default, or in case
of connection error, cxfsmgr displays a login window with
fields for server name, username, and password.

-s server Remote server on which to run the GUI. By default, the GUI
will be run on the local node.

EXAMPLES
To connect to a server named cxnode1.acme.com, enter the following:

          cxfsmgr -s cxnode1.acme.com

You will be prompted for a password.

NOTES
You should always use the CXFS Manager to confirm your progress and to
avoid making changes too quickly. After defining a node, you should wait
for it to appear in the CXFS Manager before adding another node. After
defining a cluster, you should wait for it to appear before you add nodes
to it. If you make changes too quickly, errors can occur.

You can open a second CXFS Manager window by choosing the "New CXFS
Manager" option on the File menu in the CXFS Manager window. This is the
preferred method of creating a second CXFS Manager window, because it
reuses the existing Java process to open the second window instead of
starting a new one, which saves memory usage on the client.

The sysadm(1M) system administration daemon is run on the CXFS server.
This daemon invokes the runpriv(1M) command, which allows the
administrator to grant administrative-level privilege to individual users
for certain commands. When privilege is granted, a user can execute
cxfsmgr; otherwise, cxfsmgr can only be executed by root.
The cxdetail and cxtask commands are the same as the cxfsmgr command.
